Interactive booths, carnival games by local FJ businesses, a kids bike parade, BBQ, beer garden and LIVE music. Getting excited about the last weekend in August is easy peasy. Save this date. The Function Junction Block Party - Sunday August 27th beginning at 11AM in Function Junction. The Function Block Party is developed by locals, for locals, and supported exclusively by volunteerism and local sponsorship. The goal of the Function Block Party is to help raise funds to establish an association for Function Junction; that is, a body of members dedicated to representing the best interests of its businesses and residents (including Cheakamus) and engaging the community through events, projects, partnerships and thoughtful urban development.
